Ben Price is a professional composer currently based in Philadelphia, PA. He got his start as a teenager, studying scores and teaching himself composition and guitar. Ben got a professional start in the composition world working under three-time Grammy winning and Pulitzer prize winning composer, Jennifer Higdon, with Lawdon press. Working under Higdon, Ben has had the opportunity to learn more about the field. In his freelance work, he has had the opportunity to compose for numerous chamber ensembles and orchestra.

Ben's background in formal composition helps him bring an informed perspective into his film scoring work, adding depth to projects in a way that's not easily replicable. He is also a guitarist with a background in all styles of music, which allows him to work in many different idioms.
